April 19, 2008 - Operation ACT: A Clean Trinity
Operation A.C.T. (A Clean Trinity)
The annual city-wide Trinity River cleanup is scheduled for Saturday, April 19, 2008 from 9am to noon. This year we are expanding fom last year and are adding some new partners, and starting at three different parks. We will be staging from Rochester Park (3000 Rochester), Moore Park (2312 Winnetka), and Trammel Crow Park (3700 Sylvan).
Trinity Strand Trail Photo Contest
This serene natural landscape in the middle of a bustling urban setting lends to some great contrasts in photography. With the striking downtown Dallas skyline as a possible backdrop and wildflowers bursting into bloom, now is great time to explore and shoot the area.
Eligibility: all photographers (beginner, amateur, student, professional)
